Taylor Swift is giving fans more music sooner than expected.

The singer has announced The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, an expanded edition of her 2025 album that will feature four new songs. The release is scheduled for Friday, September 25.

The announcement follows Swift’s reveal earlier this week that a new single, “Patient Zero,” would arrive on the same date. She has now confirmed that the song will be joined by three additional tracks: “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.”

Swift explained that the new songs came from a recording session in Sweden with longtime collaborators Max Martin and Shellback. According to her announcement, the session happened while she was reflecting on the response to The Life of a Showgirl, which she described as a moment of gratitude toward her fans.

“Patient Zero” was first announced on September 22 after a mysterious countdown appeared on Swift’s website. Fans had been closely following a series of clues and changes to her social-media presence before the new song was revealed.

The four-song release will give fans a new chapter of The Life of a Showgirl nearly a year after the original album arrived. Swift is also preparing for a major weekend, with the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards taking place on September 27, where she is set to receive the inaugural Artist Director Honors.
